Running with Beeston AC

Hi all – please find information about next week’s club runs below.

Well done to: everyone who raced last weekend (including the 4 who did both races!) – a great turn out for both the Peak Rail 7 (largest club) and Wilne 10K (second largest!).

Double Gravs Handicap: Due to shortening daylight hours and the proximity of the Robin Hood Half Marathon, the 2021 Double Gravs handicap will take place on Tuesday, 21st September. The race will start from Trent Vale Sports Ground, Trent Vale Road, NG9 1DE with the first runner scheduled to start at 6.00 pm (NB time brought forward to ensure we can finish before it’s dark). Venue for drinks after to be confirmed. The race is open to all first and second claim members.

If you would like to volunteer to be a marshal (there are different roles available) please can you send me a message or put a note on the Facebook post. Likewise, if you would like to run the handicap race please email or put a note on Facebook. Full information is at http://beestonac.com/double-gravs . The distance is 5.5 miles (8.8K). The winner is the first person back.
