• Pay any bills to outside parties.
• Support the Trent 5 finances and produce a balance sheet for the event

Caitlin Bradbury
Cross Country Secretary

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote cross country running to the members
• Select and publicise races for the Beeston AC cross country league
• Entering the club and runners into the cross country leagues and races
• Produce and publicise a spreadsheet after each race showing finishing positions, times and calculate the best 6 scores.
• Encourage members to enter the Championship events, relays and National Championships
• Be responsible for the cross-country kit (tent, flag and pegs!)
• Manage the Cross Country Trophies
• Produce a report for the club AGM
• Facilitate succession planning for the position

• Choose 20 races per year for the Beeston AC Fell Race league which include a variety of distances and difficulty
• Produce and publicise a spreadsheet after each raceshowing finishing positions, times and calculate the best 8 scores.
• Manage the Fell Race Trophies
• Keep up to date with the current issues and rules within the FRA (Fell Running Association)
• Liaise with members who wish to obtain Fell Running Skills i.e. equipment, shoes, safety and navigation
• Encourage members to attend the Nottinghamshire Fell Championships
• Produce a report for the club AGM
• Facilitate succession planning for the position

Road Running Secretary

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote road racing to the members
• Choose 16 races per year for the Beeston AC Road Race league
• Produce and publicise a spread sheet after each race showing finishing positions, times and calculate the best 9 scores.
• Attend and represent Beeston AC at the Notts AAA RoadRace sub-committee at various venues throughout the county (every 2-3 months)
• Enter and administer club entry to the Notts Summer League
• Attend and represent Beeston AC at the Summer League AGM at Harvey Hadden (November)
• Apply for the club places from the organisers of the London Marathon and organise a ballot for the club places
• Email all County Championship entries for the Marathon
• Enter teams into local and regional road relays where appropriate.

• Oversee the organisation of club training sessions including introductory sessions for those new to running
• Take responsibility for the Wednesday and Friday training runs – ensuring sufficient variety of routes to cater for allabilities. Publicise the routes in advance of the session if possible
• Induct new members to the club and introduce the format of the training runs
• Advise members on running techniques and ways to improve if requested
• Organise access to training courses form members wanting to qualify as run leaders or athletics coaches

• Assist the road, cross country and fell secretaries in managing the ladies teams in league competitions, delegating where appropriate
