Notts Fell Championships: entries are now open for the Wolf’s Pit race in March. The race limit is 250 so early booking is advised. See https://www.nottsaaa.org/landingpage/fell-county-champs-2022 for information.
Plans for the Trent 5 2022: The Trent 5 provisionally be on Wednesday, 25 May. We are organising a Beeston AC takeover at parkrun on 9 April for advertising the race and handing out leaflets.
Membership: Many thanks to everyone who has so far paid their membership. Membership fees are payable for 2022/3. The fee remains £20 and the preferred payment method is bank transfer: Account name Beeston AC, sort code 40-10-06 account number 62266253. Please include your full name in the payment reference field. Alternatively, please send cheques to Mr D Rawson, 95 Exchange Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6BX. Payments will be made to England Athletics at the end of this month for 2022/23.

Club runs
Friday, 4 March: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. The run will be around 6 miles to the Beeston parkrun loop via The Strand so please bring a head or chest torch. Toilets and changing rooms are available at Chilwell Olympia.
Saturday, 5 March: See you at Beeston parkrun, 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns (including Wollaton Hall) are also available on the web link.
Sunday, 6 March: Please meet at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am start from Stanton Gate, Moorbridge Lane. Many thanks to Gaby for leading last week.
It’s the first race on the Road League calendar today as well – the Retford Half Marathon. Good luck to everyone doing the race.
Tuesday, 8 March: Speed session – details will be posted on Facebook. Sessions start at 6.30 pm and please arrive early to warm up if appropriate.
Wednesday, 9 March: please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.
Gaby Neher is also leading trail runs on Thursdays, 6.30 pm which usually start by the Moor Lane running track, NG9 3FH. Details to follow on Facebook.
