Membership: Many thanks to everyone who has so far paid their membership. A few members have still not renewed and payments will be made to England Athletics at the end of this month for 2022/23. The fee remains £20 and the preferred payment method is bank transfer: Account name Beeston AC, sort code 40-10-06 account number 62266253. Club runs
Friday, 18 March: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. The run will be the figure of 8 route around the nature reserve, around 5.5 miles – please bring a head torch. Toilets and changing rooms are available at Chilwell Olympia.
Saturday, 19 March: See you at Beeston parkrun, 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns (including Wollaton Hall) are also available on the web link.
Sunday, 20 March: would anyone like to take charge of the run on Sunday from Stanton Gate? Please meet at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am start from Stanton Gate, Moorbridge Lane.
Good luck to everyone doing the Ashby 20, Wolf’s Pit and any other races today!
Tuesday, 22 March: Speed session – details will be posted on Facebook. Sessions start at 6.30 pm; please arrive early to warm up if appropriate.
Wednesday, 23 March: please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.
Gaby Neher is also leading trail runs on Thursdays, 6.30 pm which usually start by the Moor Lane running track, NG9 3FH. Details to follow on Facebook. These will be in daylight soon but for the time being please bring a head/chest torch!

Plans for the Trent 5 2022: The Trent 5 will be on Wednesday, 25 May. We are organising a Beeston AC takeover at parkrun on 9 April for advertising the race and handing out leaflets. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered.
