Notts County Championships Fell race, 19th March 2023: information about the race is on the Notts AAA website at https://www.nottsaaa.org/landingpage/fell-county-champs-2022 . Please note mandatory kit requirements.
Membership Fee Reminder: fees need to be paid to England Athletics at the beginning of April, so please send through your £20 if you have not already done so in order for your membership to be renewed for 2023/24. The preferred method is to pay by bank transfer: Account name: Beeston AC, Sort Code: 40 10 06, Account Number: 62266253

Entries are now open for the Holme Pierrepont Grand Prix series at https://www.hprcrun.co.uk/gp . The Grand Prix races are on Tuesday 27th June (4 miles at Rushcliffe), Thursday 29th June (10K at Holme Pierrepont), Tuesday 4th July (5K at Victoria Embankment) and Thursday 6th July (5 miles at University Park, Nottingham).

Club Runs
Thursday, 16 March: Gaby Neher leads trail runs on Thursdays, 6.20 for 6.30 pm, and the current meeting point is at the White Lion, Town Street, Bramcote. Please take a charged head or chest torch (not for much longer!), wear hi-viz and trail shoes and be prepared to run up to 5 loops!
Friday, 17 March: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Toilets and changing rooms are open. It’s a trip to Toton this week, just under 6 miles.
Saturday, 18 March: Beeston parkrun will be on at 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link.
If you are taking part in the parkrun challenge don’t forget it’s Forest Rec this week!
Sunday, 19 March: Please check Facebook to see if there is a club run this Sunday.
Good luck to everyone doing Wolf’s Pit today – don’t forget the kit. Parking may be tight due to the field at the start/finish being waterlogged so car sharing is advised.
Tuesday, 21 March, 6.30 pm, speed session: Salome is in charge and it will be a hill running session up Oakdale Drive, Redland Drive and Greenland Crescent. Please meet at Haveli on Attenborough Lane at 6.30 pm. It’s back to the track at Bramcote next week!
Wednesday, 22 March: Please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.

[Notts 10 – 11 March – results now available] Newstead Abbey Dash 5K – Friday 28 July entries open Newark Half Marathon – Sunday 13th August, entries now open Holme Pierrepont 10K – 29th June, 7.15 pm. Entries now open (part of GP series) Fell – Wolf’s Pit – Sunday, 19th March, entries open
Summer League 2023 races are as follows:
Race 1 – Hexgreave Park, 26th April Race 2 – Chilwell Barracks, 10th May (to be confirmed – there will be ID requirements) Race 3 – Wollaton Park, 14th June Race 4 – Worksop College, 12th July Race 5 – National Water Sports Centre, 2nd August followed by presentation.
Notts AAA Track and Field Championships, 13th and 14th May – entries now open at https://www.nottsaaa.org/landingpage/tf-county-champs-2023. The venue will be Harvey Hadden Stadium.
