3. Wrekin Relay, Shropshire 13 July:

Maryke Fox has posted in Facebook asking people to let her know if you would be interested in taking part in the Wrekin Relay in Shropshire on 13th July.  We did this a couple of years ago and it was a great laugh!  We'll stay in the same place again (Youth Hostel at Bridges near the Long Mynd) and get mini-buses into Shrewsbury to visit the tea houses there.

The race itself is a trail race comprising three laps each of 3.6 miles with 182m ascent.  You can do it as a relay in teams of three or you can do three laps solo.

The link to the race website is here: http://www.wrekinroadrunners.net/wrekin-relay-challenge.html  and entries are now open but we need to enter as teams (cost is £30 per team). Some pictures from the 2016 event are here: http://beestonac.com/wrekin

Accommodation will be in dorms or shared rooms at a cost of ~£23pppn, a cooked breakfast is £6.  Please could you either message Maryke on Facebook or let me have your name if you wish to take part by 7 April, as the race does sell out and we will need to book accommodation sooner rather than later. We can always adjust teams on the day.

4. Well done: to everyone who raced at the weekend, at the inaugural Notts20 and the Wolf’s Pit Fell Race. Many congratulations to Greg Hopkinson on winning the fell race! Both Greg and Holly have won County vests as a result of their performances in the race – fantastic result! 🏆

5. Good luck: to everyone racing and running this coming weekend.
