Hi all – details of news and runs below.
Notts AAA (on behalf of Southwell RC) is asking for support for the first Summer League race at Hexgreave on 20 April as they have reported they are short of marshals. Anyone offering to help with parking would still be able to run the race once all the cars are parked. If you are willing to help please email passgeorge1@googlemail.com. The Ed Prickett Relays are back this coming Sunday, 3 April 10.00 am at University Park, University of Nottingham (starting point usually on the Downs with a run round campus then along the Boulevard). Teams can be men or women or mixed (2 plus 2). We have done this before, it’s great fun and cheap (£5 each)! If the legs are the same length as before, it’s just under 2.4 miles (3.8K) and the relays are run in memory of a student Ed Prickett, whose family often turn up with a team.
The Hardwick 10K is back on 21 July! Those who like a hilly race can find details at https://www.hardwickrun.co.uk/
The Stephen Price Memorial 10K and fun run is also back on Sunday, 11 September at Aston-on-Trent. This is a race which Mark put on the Road League Calendar back in 2020 but unfortunately it was cancelled. Check out the website at www.sp10k.co.uk.
Notts AAA Track and Field Championships: Entries for this year's Nottinghamshire AAA Track and Field Championships are now open. All entries are online only via the Notts AAA website. Entry links can be found on the homepage www.nottsaaa.org as well as on the track and field tab www.nottsaaa.org/landingpage/tf-county-champs-2022. The closing date for all entries is Friday, 22nd April.
The Committee will be meeting in early April; if anyone has items they would like to be raised, please reply to this email address with details. Good luck to the Manchester marathoners (let us know how you get on) and anyone else racing this weekend (including Prague :).

Club runs
Friday, 1 April: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. The run will be the Beeston parkrun route via The Strand, just under 6 miles. Toilets and changing rooms are available at Chilwell Olympia.
Saturday, 2 April: See you at Beeston parkrun, 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns (including Wollaton Hall) are also available on the web link.
Sunday, 3 April: Please meet at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am start from Stanton Gate, Moorbridge Lane.
Tuesday, 5 April: The speed session, now that the lighter evenings are here, will normally be at the Moor Lane running track, NG9 3FH (though there may sometimes be hills elsewhere!) – further details of the session will be posted on Facebook. Sessions start at 6.30 pm; please arrive early to warm up if appropriate.
Wednesday, 6 April: please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.
Gaby Neher is also leading trail runs on Thursdays, 6.30 pm, meeting point by the Moor Lane running track, NG9 3FH this Thursday (a special visit to a trig point) before a move to another location. Details to follow on Facebook.

Plans for the Trent 5 2022: The Trent 5 will be on Wednesday, 25 May. We are organising a Beeston AC takeover at parkrun on 9 April for advertising the race and handing out leaflets. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered.
