The mainly flat route will take runners along canal towpaths and country trails, finishing beneath the newly restored ‘Iron Giant’ that is Bennerley Viaduct.

The race will be run in a time trial format with runners starting in waves from 10:00am based on their predicted finish time. The conditions under foot vary from gravel tracks, canal paths and un-kept trails to smooth pavement. Entry numbers are limited to just 200 participants and it will not be possible to enter on the day.
