Hi all – details of news and runs below.
Summer League 3 on 15th June: Thank you very much to everyone who has volunteered to marshal, this is much appreciated. The race will take place at Wollaton Park, 7.15 pm start. Payment for the car park is by RingGo app, please do not park on adjacent roads. Please can marshals report to Sophie Eadsforth in front of the Hall at 6.15 pm (at the bottom of the hill). Map attached.
There is no water at the race finish, please bring your own if you need it. The start will be wide (in front of the Hall), and the course will go through the woods behind the lake so watch out for tree roots. Toilet facilities will be available in the courtyard.
Kim is very kindly reserving an area in the marquee at the Vic, Dovecote Lane, for our use after and there will be hot dogs!
HPRC Celebrations: Holme Pierrepont RC would love us to join their 40th anniversary celebrations – they are organising a relay on 17th July around the Vale of Belvoir – see https://www.hprcrun.com/40th-anniversary for full details. Dave Cross has put a post on Facebook to see if anyone is interested.

Club runs
Gaby Neher leads trail runs on Thursdays, 6.30 pm, but this week it is CANCELLED as Gaby is in Leicester though it is now likely that a few of the regular runners will still be meeting at the White Lion, Town Street, Bramcote for 6.30 pm.
Friday, 10 June: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Toilets and changing rooms are open. This run will be a 5.5 mile loop round Attenborough. Neil will post details on Facebook.
Saturday, 11 June: See you at Beeston parkrun, 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link.
Sunday, 12 June: Please meet at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am start from Stanton Gate, Moorbridge Lane.
Tuesday, 14 June: The speed session: these are usually at the Moor Lane running track, NG9 3FH (though there may sometimes be hills elsewhere!). Further details of the session will be posted on Facebook. Sessions start at 6.30 pm; please arrive early to warm up if appropriate.
Wednesday, 15 June: no Club run this week as it’s Summer League 3 at Wollaton Park, 7.15 pm start as above.

Message from Holme Pierrepont RC: “HPRC Track Champs are finally back this year! They'll be held on Wednesday 20th July 7-9 pm at Bingham [NG13 8BL]. Same time and basic format as previous years, slight shuffle in the order of events but otherwise same low-key friendly atmosphere. Officials in place so will go on PO10 etc for those who are keen! Seniors & masters only please. Order of events this year is 800m, 200m, 1500m, 400m, 3000m. Entries are now open, so please spread the word amongst the Beeston bunch! Feel free to collate entries at your end and submit in one go, or if easier just get people to email me [James] directly to track@hprcrun.co.uk with their: Name; event(s); 2021/2022 PB or predicted time(s). Entries close 12th July. As with previous years, first dibs go to HP athletes but no 'limit' to how many from Beeston would like to enter and of course athletes can enter as many events as they like (oh yeh and obviously it's free!).”
Some of us went a few years back and it was a very enjoyable evening, well worth going if you want to try track or go for a PB.
