Hello everyone – details of news and runs below.

Road League 2023: the downloadable list is attached for information. Quite a few races are already open for entries. The parkrun challenge is also attached.

Club Runs

Thursday, 9 February: Gaby Neher leads trail runs on Thursdays, 6.20 for 6.30 pm, and the current meeting point is at the White Lion, Town Street, Bramcote. Please take a charged head or chest torch, wear hi-viz and trail shoes.

Friday, 10 February: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Toilets and changing rooms are open. Please wear light clothing and bring a chest or head torch as it’s a head torch run to the Bus Stop via Attenborough Nature Reserve, just under 6 miles.

Saturday, 11 February: Beeston parkrun will be on at 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link. If you join with the Rebel Runners sometimes, they are celebrating their 7th birthday at Clifton parkrun today.

Sunday, 12 February: No Sunday run this week as it’s the final race in the East Midlands XC at West Park, Long Eaton, NG10 4AA: just turn up in your vest! The race starts at 11.00 am. Don’t forget about the road closure on Derby Road from QMC to Priory Island if this affects your journey. A good turn out would be fantastic.

Tuesday, 14 February, 6.30 pm, speed session:  Salome Maybanks is the leader tonight – it’s 500m/1K sprints on Thane Road. Please meet at the Boots end of the road for the session (you can park nearby off Lilac Grove).

Wednesday, 15 February: Please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.

Fell – Wolf’s Pit – Sunday, 19^th March, entries open
