Well done: to everyone who participated in the East Midlands XC League, great results with 3 senior trophies for the women!
Tony Rushton’s Funeral: the funeral is next Tuesday, 21st February at 11.00 am at Bramcote Crematorium. No flowers please, donations requested to Parkinson’s UK. Any Club members attending are welcome to wear a club vest (over a shirt, etc.).
Road League: please note that the Castle Rock 10K will be on Friday, 4th August this year and not the 18th.

Club Runs
Thursday, 16 February: Gaby Neher leads trail runs on Thursdays, 6.20 for 6.30 pm, and the current meeting point is at the White Lion, Town Street, Bramcote. Please take a charged head or chest torch, wear hi-viz and trail shoes.
Friday, 17 February: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Toilets and changing rooms are open. Please wear light clothing and bring a chest or head torch; it’s the figure of 8 round Attenborough Nature Reserve.
Saturday, 18 February: Beeston parkrun will be on at 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link.
The parkrun challenge starts today at Beeston; hope to see some of you there!
Sunday, 19 February: Simon Hall is in charge this week, so please meet at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am start from Stanton Gate, Moorbridge Lane. Thanks Simon!
Tuesday, 21 February, 6.30 pm, speed session: Tasso Gazis is in charge this week – please meet at the Boots end of Thane Road for a 1K sprints session. Parking is nearby around Lilac Grove.
Wednesday, 22 February: Please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.
