Hi all – details of news and runs below. I'm off on my hols so it's a bit earlier this week.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Castle Rock 10K – runners, marshals and supporters alike! It was a tough race but the beer after provided good motivation.
Holme Pierrepoint RC are organising another track night – the Night of the Mile PBs (hopefully) on Tuesday, 13th September at Bingham Leisure Centre, 8.00 – 9.00 pm. Free entry to a seeded race – if you would like to join in, please send your name and predicted time to track@hprcun.co.uk by 9th September. |

Club runs
Gaby Neher leads trail runs on Thursdays, 6.20 for 6.30 pm, and the current meeting point is at the White Lion, Town Street, Bramcote. Please comment on her Facebook post if you are intending to go.
Friday, 26 August: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Toilets and changing rooms are open. Neil will post the route on Facebook in advance.
Saturday, 27 August: See you at Beeston parkrun, 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link.
Sunday, 28 August: Please meet at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am start from Stanton Gate, Moorbridge Lane. It’s a Bank Holiday weekend …. Could be a trip to Locko Park?!
Tuesday, 30 August: The speed session: these are usually at the Moor Lane running track, NG9 3FH (though there may sometimes be hills elsewhere!). Further details of the session will be posted on Facebook. Sessions start at 6.30 pm; please arrive early to warm up if appropriate.
Wednesday, 31 August: Please arrive at 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Neil will post the routes on Facebook as usual.

The Stilton Stumble Team has been in touch: entries are open for this race on Sunday, 16th October via a link at https://stiltonstumble.com/ . This is a 10K race, cost £22 for affiliated runners – with a piece of cheese at the end! (Good if you like Stilton!)
