Trail: Lakeland Trail 14K, 23K, 55K, 100K Ultra
Sat 11th July
The tough 100K course goes through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Lake District, takes in 5 mountain passes and over 10,000 ft of elevation. It will certainly live up to it’s billing as the most picturesque ultra marathon in the UK. The shorter 55K Lakeland Trails Ultra also includes 3 mountain passes, with 7,000 ft ascent/descent along with 5 memorable feed stations.
The 55K Ultra is worth 3 ITRA points and the 100K Ultra is worth 4 ITRA points towards UTMB qualification.
The 23K & 14K Ultimate Trails courses take in much of the final section of the 100K and 55K courses, for those wanting a shorter trail run option. Places will be in demand.
The start and finish arena will have entertainment, food stalls, trade and retail stands and PA commentary.
The courses are fully waymarked and marshalled, with well stocked feed stations along the route. There are some great prizes on offer for the Race, and winners prizes in the veteran classes.
