A big thank you to Phil Herd for organising the Christmas Party, it was a great night! The men’s Fell League trophy was also presented to John Evans – well done.

Thursday, 22 December: Gaby’s trail run will be a festive lights and chip run! Please meet at 6.25 for a 6.30 pm depart from the Cod’s Scallops at 170 Bramcote Lane, NG8 2QP, returning for chips after.
Friday, 23 December: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Please wear light clothing and bring a chest or head torch; tonight’s run is a head torch run round Attenborough Nature Reserve, the figure of 8 route, around 5.5 miles. The Centre may or may not be open.
Saturday, 24 December: Beeston parkrun will be on at 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link.
Christmas Eve drinks in the Victoria Hotel, Dovecote Lane, from 1.30 pm onwards.🍻
Sunday, 25 December: Beeston parkrun is on again, number 377 (for those doing the 5K app challenges!). See you at 9.00 am at the Weirfields,maybe in a Christmas jumper. Monday, 26 December: it’s the traditional Boxing Day run round Wollaton Park. Meet in the car park at the front of the hall (there is a parking charge on the RingGo app if you park in the grounds, NG8 2AE) at 8.50 am for a 9.00 am depart.

Thursday, 29th December: Gaby Neher leads trail runs, 6.20 for 6.30 pm, and the meeting point this week will be the Boathouse Café, Beeston Marina NG9 1NA. Please take a head or chest torch, wear light coloured clothing and trail shoes.

East Midlands League dates are as follows (all 11.00 am starts):
Race 1 – Sunday, 22 January 2023, Holme Pierrepont NG12 2LU Race 2 – Sunday, 29 January, Bramcote Park, NG9 3GD Race 3 – Sunday, 5 February, Colwick Woods NG3 7EB Race 4 – Sunday, 12 February, West Park, Long Eaton NG10 4AA.
Registered members can turn up for the North Midlands and East Midlands League races for free (you just need your club vest and shoes); Charlie Pearce will put a shout out on Facebook when inviting members to express interest for other races for which a small fee is payable (such as the County Championships).
