Double discount at Up & Running this weekend: we have received a message from the shop as follows:
“Normally we offer you and your members 10% off, but for this weekend we are going up to 20%. The discount applies to full priced products (shoes, clothing, accessories… but excludes electronics). The double discount runs for 4 days, starting Friday 25th November and runs to Monday 28th November.
We also have an offer on electronics over the Black Friday period:
· selected Garmin’s have £50 off (Forerunner 55’s, 255’s, 955’s) · Shokz headphones have 20% off (OpenRun Pro), and 30% off (OpenRun & Open Move)

Final call for tickets for the Christmas Party: Friday, 16th December at Chilwell Manor Golf Club, £20 a ticket. This includes food and a disco. Please let Phil Herd know if you would like ticket(s). Payment up front.

Club runs
Gaby Neher leads trail runs on Thursdays, 6.20 for 6.30 pm, and the current meeting point is at the White Lion, Town Street, Bramcote. Please take a head or chest torch, wear light coloured clothing and trail shoes.
Friday, 25 November: 6.25 for 6.30 pm depart, Chilwell Olympia. Toilets and changing rooms are open. Please wear light clothing and bring a chest or head torch. It’s the Chilwell and Toton route this week, just under 6 miles.
Saturday, 26 November: Beeston parkrun will be on at 9.00 am at the Weirfields, Beeston Rylands NG9 1LZ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/beeston/. Details of other local parkruns including Wollaton Hall are also available on the web link.
Sunday, 27 November: An update is awaited on whether there is anyone available to lead this run. Please check Facebook.

East Midlands League dates are as follows (all 11.00 am starts):
Race 1 – Sunday, 22 January 2023, Holme Pierrepont NG12 2LU Race 2 – Sunday, 29 January, Bramcote Park, NG9 3GD Race 3 – Sunday, 5 February, Colwick Woods NG3 7EB Race 4 – Sunday, 12 February, West Park, Long Eaton NG10 4AA.
Registered members can turn up for the North Midlands and East Midlands League races for free; Charlie Pearce will put a shout out on Facebook when inviting members to express interest for other races for which a small fee is payable (such as the County Championships).
